Michael Ashley is an amazingly safe and caring human. I went into our work together a little nervous because of my past trauma with men, but MA quickly made me feel at ease. He was so lovingly patient with me which opened the space for me to be patient with MYSELF- to allow myself the wait time necessary for coming into a full body YES whenever I’m making a decision; that patience and presence he modeled is something that I’ve taken with me far beyond our session together. As someone who was concerned with doing the work “right”, I was amazed at MA’s ability to hold space without any kind of expectation for what anything was going to look like. (I can sniff those expectations out pretty quickly and figure out what I need to do to tick the boxes.)
